Built-in within N is a Highscore section, where you can watch and submit your own top 20 highscores for each level and episode.

On the Metanet Forums, the latest Highscore Rankings were updated by thecalcgenius on April 20, 2007. Previously, the list was maintained by pokemaniac1342, spect, and tktktk.

At one stage, pokemaniac1342's rankings did away with 0th rankings altogether, because of his feelings about the recent influx of cheating accusations. This was rectified as the community believed that the act was not fair to the legit highscorers in the 0th rankings.

[edit] Cheating

Since the appearance of naem, some highscorers began to be distrusted by the main forum body, as a number of their scores seemed nigh impossible.

kryX-orange recently admitted that he cheated on some levels, and thus has/will have his scores stricken from the database.

The highscore rankings are not updated as often as previously, because of the lack of an anti-cheating system; an addition hoped to be introduced in N 1.5.
