Method 1
First, you need to jump into the trench. Just lightly tap jump so you flick the switch as well. Wait until the laser has stopped. Once the laser has stopped, run right and don't jump until the laser is just about to activate (you've got 1 second after it begins to power up). Jump over the laser drone. Run underneath the laser drone and out of that section. Grab the gold, jump up to get the switch, and drop down into the exit.
Method 2
First, you need to jump into the trench. Just lightly tap jump so you flick the switch as well. Wait until the laser has stopped. Once the laser has stopped, jump out of the trench as high as possible so that the laser aims above you. Wait for it to stop, and jump over the laser drone. Run out of that section. Grab the gold, jump up to get the switch, and drop down into the exit.
